This is a vintage 14K rose and yellow gold pendant fob or charm. Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks of the World (I B P O E W). The elk's head holds a clock set at 11 o'clock. The center is blue enamel and white enamel under the numbers. The back with an unusual emblem is set with one diamond, one ruby, and one sapphire. The elk's tooth is a very nice light color (not yellow like in my pictures.) The tooth is in excellent condition. The gold on top shows a lot of tender loving use. Not marked, but acid tested and guaranteed to be 14K. Approximate size: 1.25" L, 3/4" w tooth 5/8" w top. Total weight: 11 grams. The I B P O E W - Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks of the World - is an African-American fraternal organization. It was established in 1897. In the early 21st century they had 500,000 members and 1500 lodges. It is the largest Black fraternal organization in the world today....more |

Green glazed eosin pitcher made by the Zsolnay factory of Pecs, Hungary. The vase features an impressed floral decoration on a tall neck tapering to a low round body on a small base. A handle appears to one side. In different light, the vase's green color shows highlights of yellow and blue. Marked on base with Zsolnay logo, 5 steeple mark, Zsolnay Hungary 1868/Pecs Hand Painted. There is some very light crazing on the bottom. This unusual silver besamim spice container displays three acanthus leaf motifs on a pear-shaped body. There is a six-footed base and a flat six-part pierced hinged top. This Austrian-Hungarian mark was used until 1866. The letter at the top indicates the town, A for Vienna. The 13 indicates the silver purity: 813. It is in very good condition. This classic American round sterling silver tray was made by the Woodside Sterling Co. of New York. The slightly bowl-shaped tray rises to a rounded edge. Marked on bottom with the Woodside logo "W" encircled in a wreath, and the production number 510. It is in good condition, with some surface abrasions. (Hard to photograph the tray because it is shiny like a mirror.) There are no splits, no dents, no cracks, no breaks, no monograms, and no repairs. Made between 1895-1925.
