Description: |
This classic American round sterling silver tray was made by the Woodside Sterling Co. of New York. The slightly bowl-shaped tray rises to a rounded edge. Marked on bottom with the Woodside logo "W" encircled in a wreath, and the production number 510. It is in good condition, with some surface abrasions. (Hard to photograph the tray because it is shiny like a mirror.) There are no splits, no dents, no cracks, no breaks, no monograms, and no repairs. Made between 1895-1925. Size: 10-1/2" (26.7 cm) diameter, 1/2" (1.3 cm) deep Weight: 387 grams Woodside Sterling Co., New York, New York "1896" - 1925 Sterling holloware, novelties and vanity items. Succeeded by Richard M.
