Description: |
This small Imperial Russian silver Kiddush cup is beautifully engraved with a heart, houses with a tree and a church. Not monogrammed. Great wedding gift. Marked on the bottom with date 1876, with the assayer's mark in Cyrillic letters, mark for Moscow St George slaying the dragon and 86 for silver content 875/1000 silver and maker's mark Ivan Zakharov in cirillic letters. He was a well known silversmith in Moscow from 1856 - 1896. Condition is very good. Size: Approximately: 2.4", 62 mm H, 2.25" top, 1.5" bottom diameter Weight: 40.5 grams |
