Tiffany Pocket Watch 18 Kt Gold Art Deco C. H. Meylan 2 Jewels

This wonderful high grade 18k yellow gold men's pocket watch is fitted with a stem winding 21j lever movement by C. H. Meylan, and retailed by Tiffany & Co. Circa 1920. The silver color dial has gold numbers and gold hands and an outer minute chapter ring as well as a sub-dial second at 6'o clock. The open face watch case is hand crafted thick solid 18k gold by the Cresarrow Watch Co of New Jersey. It is in very good condition, with minor wear. The movement is marked: 38053. Swiss, 21 jewels, 7 Adjustments, C. H. Meylan Brassus. The inside of the watch case is stamped 18 k, 54246, and the mark arrow across a C. The watch is in perfect working condition. It was just overhauled.
Size: approx. 46 mm (1.75") overall and the movement 37mm (1.5").


Total weight with movement and crystal is 37.5 grams.

In the late 1800s, C.H. Meylan founded the Meylan Watch Company in Le Brassus, Switzerland. Tiffany & Co. was one of the high end retailers who used their movement C.H. Description:
Vacheron & Constantin, the Prestige Swiss Watch Company made the movement for Black Starr and Frost Circa. 1890. This whimsical pendant watch features old mine cut and rose cut diamonds in a millegrain setting. All diamonds tested with a diamond tester. Total diamond weight is approximately 5.25 carats. Platinum tested with platinum acid. The watch hangs from a swivel bail and an elaborate openwork floral design. Pave-set rose cut diamonds encrust a disk covering the watch back. The black-on-white watch face displays delicate script numbers and is marked Black Starr and Frost. The face is framed by a scrolling curvilinear motif. The watch mechanism is marked Vacheron & Constantin, Swiss, and 38659.
It is in good working condition, but it is very delicate and has to be handled with great care, and for this reason I can not give garantee with it.

Total size: 60 mm long from bottom to top of bail.

Pendant Pocket Watch Platinum Diamond 2 Ct Bigelow Kennard & Co. Vintage 1930s

This elegant pendant or pocket watch was made for the prominent Boston jewelers Bigelow Kennard & Co. The face displays stylized platinum color numbers and hands on an off-white background. A row of diamonds set in platinum forms an intricate border. A black enamel edge separates the face from the back. The arch shaped hanging loop is also encrusted with diamonds. Marked 3 PLATINUM 6 on the back. ( I don't know what the numbers represent) I was told by the watchmaker, who overhauled the watch that the movement is probably made by one of the best Swiss watchmakers C.H. Meylan of Brassus, Switzerland. On the movement marked BIGELOW KENNARD & CO. BOSTON, SWISS, and ADJUSTED 10188. It is in working condition, but it is being offered on an as is condition. There is a little black enamel chip on the side. Case, dial and movement is in very good condition.
