Antique Herend Porcelain Cup and Saucer Set of Four 1909

Description:
Herend hand painted porcelain demitasse coffee set, dated 1909. Set of 4, one of a kind design. It has flowers similar to Printemps with chrysanthemums. The saucer doesn't have the groove for the cup, like modern saucers have. Each piece bears the old Herend shield makers mark in blue with the crown on the top of the shield, and the date 1909 the word Herend is impressed. For collecting purposes, this one of a kind early mark is highly sought after. They are all in perfect condition without any cracks, chips, or repairs which is remarkable for their great age. (some gold may be worn off at the edges.)

Limoges Porcelain Wall Plate Large Antique Signed Tressemanes & Vogt

Description:
Arts and Crafts Tressemanes & Vogt artist-signed hand-painted Limoges porcelain platter. Polychrome profile of an American Indian maiden looking soulfully upward, wearing a beaded headdress. A deep Pompeiian red ground emphasizes the stylized design. A border of gold corn stalks sits on dark brown ground. Made by Tressemanes & Vogt of Limoges, France. This mark was used during the early 1900's. Probably decorated in New York. Signed F.P. Sullivan in two places along lower right bottom. Marked on bottom T&V/ LIMOGES/FRANCE and artist's initials FPS. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.

Gustave Vogt and Emilien Tressemanes became partners in the early 1880's.In 1891 they purchased two small porcelain factories, in the suburb of Montjovis, Limoges. As Tressemanes & Vogt, they made high quality porcelain for export to the USA. In 1919 Martial Raynaud bought the company.

Set includes a round bowl with wooden base, a set of matching serving spoon and fork with wood handle and a canoe shape salad dressing boat with wood handles. The set is in excellent vintage condition with some crazing in the bowl and two tiny nicks on the spoon and two on the tip of the fork.

Green glazed eosin pitcher made by the Zsolnay factory of Pecs, Hungary. The vase features an impressed floral decoration on a tall neck tapering to a low round body on a small base. A handle appears to one side. In different light, the vase's green color shows highlights of yellow and blue. Marked on base with Zsolnay logo, 5 steeple mark, Zsolnay Hungary 1868/Pecs Hand Painted. There is some very light crazing on the bottom. Other then that the pitcher in perfect condition, no chips or repairs

Description:
Pair of 19th century hand painted Hungarian folk art pottery plates. Handwritten description on the back of the plates are in Hungarian, translates to: "It was made in 1884 September 17th in Saros Nagy Patak at Molnar Janos potter master". Reticulated (pierced) edges. Both are in good antique condition. Some crazing and one has a crack on the surface. Original with no restorations. Please see photographs. It was not used, just hung on the wall as decoration.

For Antique Herend collectors! This is a rare 19th century Herend Bowl. The design is stylized, intertwining floral motifs are contrasted to four red wheels in dramatic cobalt blue wedges. The bottom is stamped with the 1890s mark: a crown above HEREND in a banner. The porcelain is in perfect condition, no chips or repairs but there is some fading in the paint.

Description:
Vintage Pennsylvania Dutch Redware marriage plate from 1925. The brightly colored polychrome design displays two ornamental doves in a Tree of Life with pink, yellow and blue bell-shaped flowers growing from a heart with a pink daisy in its center. The front is inscribed: RUTH EMMA BATHOLOMEW and WILLIAM NEWMAN RICHARDS, MARRIED JUNE 16, 1925 SCRANTON, PENNSYLVANIA . On the reverse there is a hand-painted explanation of the symbolism of the plate's design. Custom made by The Friendship Shop, Buckhill Falls, Pennsylvania. Plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. It does have general crazing to the glaze.
