Description: |
Herend hand painted porcelain demitasse coffee set, dated 1909. Set
of 4, one of a kind design. It has flowers similar to Printemps with
chrysanthemums. The saucer doesn't have the groove for the cup,
like modern saucers have. Each piece bears the old Herend shield
makers mark in blue with the crown on the top of the shield, and the
date 1909 the word Herend is impressed. For collecting purposes,
this one of a kind early mark is highly sought after. They are all in
perfect condition without any cracks, chips, or repairs which is
remarkable for their great age. (some gold may be worn off at the
