Antique Hungarian Folk Art Pottery Pair 10" Plates 1884

Description:
Pair of 19th century hand painted Hungarian folk art pottery plates. Handwritten description on the back of the plates are in Hungarian, translates to: "It was made in 1884 September 17th in Saros Nagy Patak at Molnar Janos potter master". Reticulated (pierced) edges. Both are in good antique condition. Some crazing and one has a crack on the surface. Original with no restorations. Please see photographs. It was not used, just hung on the wall as decoration.

Lot of 14 empty Perfume and Eau De Toilette Bottles of Balenciaga Quadrille, Paris, now discontinued.
The bottle was designed and manufactured by Pochet et du Courval Glass Factory, They were famous for making luxury glass perfume bottles since 1930.
They are all in good condition and all have the original paper label and embossed information at the bottom. No chips or cracks noted, some wear.
This is a great collection! Great chance to own some perfume history!
The tallest is about 6" (145mm), the smallest is about 1.75" (45 mm)...more

Description:
Fine set of four matching antique Victorian curtain or drapery tie backs. Mushroom shaped hand-blown glass with mercury mirror lining and etched with grape and leaf motives. The end caps are made of metal, with screws. They are in excellent antique condition with no clouding, no chips, no cracks, no scratches or repairs.

Date: C. 1850

Each measures about 8 cm (little over 3") diameter and projects about 9 cm (3.5") from the wall....more

Great collection of Hummel wall plaques. All dated between 1935-1949 First production line. Made in Germany

1. Little fiddler. #93 Size: 5" x 5" no chips or cracks, or repairs,

2. Merry Wanderer. #9 Size: 5" x 5.5" no chips or cracks, or repairs,.

3. Retreat to Safety. #126 Size: 5" x 5" has a chip on the reverse top corner

4. Quartet. #134 Size: 6" x 5" has a chip on the side and some repairs on the bottom

All chips and repairs are visible on my pictures.

Franz Goebel discovered Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, the German Franciscan Sister and artist's ketches and bought the right from her to manufacture these adorable figurines. The W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik started producing the first line in 1935....more

KPM Berlin Plate Fragonard Painting in Center Late 19th Century 10"

This beautiful plate shows a signed picture in the center by the French painter Fragonard. It has red border with gold decoration. The plate can be hanged on the wall or displayed on a stand. The mark under the glaze is a cobalt blue scepter for KPM (Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur). From the mark I estimate it to be late 19th century Berlin. It is in good condition with minimal wear present. There are no breaks, chips, or repairs.

For Antique Herend collectors! This is a rare 19th century Herend Bowl. The design is stylized, intertwining floral motifs are contrasted to four red wheels in dramatic cobalt blue wedges. The bottom is stamped with the 1890s mark: a crown above HEREND in a banner. The porcelain is in perfect condition, no chips or repairs but there is some fading in the paint.
