Description:
This is a very attractive rectangular French silver box with engine turned decoration all around the box and a stylish decoration and a vacant cartouche on the top. It can be used for pills or small trinkets. It has some small dents. The lid hinge is in good working order, the lid opens and closes properly and it will not fall open accidentally. The inside of the box needs cleaning. The box is made from quality thick gauge silver and has a heavy weight and quality feel. It has two very tiny hallmarks. One is the Minerva head, the other is the maker's mark.

Antique Russian silver snuff tobacco hinged box, with gilt interior. Decorated with whimsical swirling motifs with striped and checkered sections all around the box. It is in good antique condition. The hinges are firm and the lid closes nicely
The vermeil interior is marked on both top and bottom with the maker's mark in Cyrillic letters F. M. The assay mark is A.K. 1848, and 84 (for 875/1000 silver). On the top: the two letters F. M. again, the mark for Moskow (St George slaying the dragon) and 84

This lovely Dutch silver round trinket or pill box has a hinged lid. The top has a wonderful repousse horse and carriage with a man and a woman. The rim of the base is decorated with an embossed scroll wreath design. On the lip and on the back the box is the mark of the single sword with 835 and the makers mark Z Z. This little Austrian silver pill box is a little treasure. White - with a hint of pale blue -guilloche enameled all around: top, bottom and sides. The top is decorated with colorful flowers. The interior are vermeil (silver gilt). Marked with Austrian hallmarks, including the maker's initials, and an import mark. Made around the1900s. The box is in superb undamaged condition.

This handsome oblong snuff box is made of a rich brown lacquered papier mache. The central section features a hinged opening with rectangular inlaid stone petra dura in an intricate geometric pattern and decorative yet functional white metal nail heads. There is a central rectangular reserve with no inscription, and the piece culminates in domed ends with distinctive white metal bands. In excellent antique condition.

Beautifully crafted Art Deco silver and 14 Kt gold cigarette case features black opaque enamel over silver. Two gold bands cross above and below a rectangular reserve with the initials DLO. The case is hinged on the left side with a clasp on the right. The vermeil (gilded) interior has a decorative openwork hinge to hold the cigarettes. Marked on interior 14 K STERLING, an unidentified maker's mark, and the production number 4113. It is in very good vintage condition.

This 18th Century sentimental hand-painted enamel box with porcelain top was intended for decorative face patches or other small trinkets. Suitors would give the ladies they were interested in a tiny gift in a box. The box is oval with a domed lid, and the inside cover boasts a small metal mirror. The top features the sweet endearment "A small Token of Friendship" around an urn in a cartouche with decorative flowers and an encircling vine in black on a white ground. The bottom is a lovely lavender seems like enamel on copper, and the mountings are brass. The inside has a steel mirror that has dulled with age. The lid closes and fits perfectly.
