This sterling silver rococo style table top easel vanity mirror has a scrolling floral and leaf motif. The mirror is beveled, and its overall shape echoes that of a clam shell. The back and hinged stand, covered in red velvet, accentuates and heightens the silver by way of stark contrasts of textures and colors. Silver being the traditional gift for a twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, this would make a memorable expression of love. Maker's mark H.M for H. Matthews, Hallmarked: Birmingham,1898. A scroll at the bottom center reads 1874 J & M.S. 1899. It is in excellent antique condition.

This elegant sterling silver serving dish with floral swags of lilly of the valley. The center of the tray is etched crystal decorated with ellipses along a ribbed band with beaded swags. A large crystal handle with sterling top rises from the center. Marked STERLING on the front and on the back of the tray. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Description:
This is a very attractive rectangular French silver box with engine turned decoration all around the box and a stylish decoration and a vacant cartouche on the top. It can be used for pills or small trinkets. It has some small dents. The lid hinge is in good working order, the lid opens and closes properly and it will not fall open accidentally. The inside of the box needs cleaning. The box is made from quality thick gauge silver and has a heavy weight and quality feel. It has two very tiny hallmarks. One is the Minerva head, the other is the maker's mark.

Antique Russian silver snuff tobacco hinged box, with gilt interior. Decorated with whimsical swirling motifs with striped and checkered sections all around the box. It is in good antique condition. The hinges are firm and the lid closes nicely
The vermeil interior is marked on both top and bottom with the maker's mark in Cyrillic letters F. M. The assay mark is A.K. 1848, and 84 (for 875/1000 silver). On the top: the two letters F. M. again, the mark for Moskow (St George slaying the dragon) and 84

Antique Silver Salt Cellar Austria 1787 Footed

Description:
Oval footed silver open salt cellar. The cellar is in the shape of a bulging open tub with a short out-turned lip. The bowl sits on four short curved cabriole legs. An elegantly simple and pure design. Fully hallmarked for Austria (It is not clear, but it looks like 1787, but could be 1707), 13 for silver purity. The zig-zeg mark is done by the assayer to test it's purity. Maker Marks I G, as well as engraved monogram D I Z and the date 1798 probably the date it was given to someone. The condition is excellent for an item this old.

Antique Judaica Spice Box Besamim Vienna 1866

Description:
This unusual silver besamim spice container displays three acanthus leaf motifs on a pear-shaped body. There is a six-footed base and a flat six-part pierced hinged top. This Austrian-Hungarian mark was used until 1866. The letter at the top indicates the town, A for Vienna. The 13 indicates the silver purity: 813. It is in very good condition. I see only one little dent at the foot.

Great looking fine vintage silver mesh evening purse with nicely chased frame. Bigger than a change purse, but smaller than the average bag.
Marked inside the frame 800 and a maker's mark I don't recognize. The purse is in very good condition. The mesh shows some signs of wear at both sides of the hinge. (Please see pictures.) Not monogrammed. The clasp that closes tight has 2 blue cabochon stones, looks like sapphire.

This classic American round sterling silver tray was made by the Woodside Sterling Co. of New York. The slightly bowl-shaped tray rises to a rounded edge. Marked on bottom with the Woodside logo "W" encircled in a wreath, and the production number 510. It is in good condition, with some surface abrasions. (Hard to photograph the tray because it is shiny like a mirror.) There are no splits, no dents, no cracks, no breaks, no monograms, and no repairs. Made between 1895-1925.
