This delightful and elegant child's cup is decorated with figures in the style of the English children's book ilustrater Catherine Greenaway (1846 1901) The name KARL appears in the reserve. A variety of children's moods and humors are observed: three crying or pleading children appear to the left of the cartouche, while three other sprightly, hatted figures and a dog appear to the right. Impressed on bottom with Meriden Brittania mark, STERLING, and a production number of 950B.

Judaica Silver Antique Etrog Box Austria Hungary Empire revival 451g

Description:
This fine Etrog box in the Empire revival style is decorated with swags of garlands and bow. The bulbous body is resting on four feet and is topped with a leaf motive finial. Beautiful gold washed interior. The inside is marked with the Austrian hallmark of Diana's head for 1867 with the letter A for Vienna and a number 3 for 800 silver. There is also a makers mark. Unfortunately there is one dent on the back, (shown in the pictures), but the rest of the box is in excellent vintage condition. There is a lock and key (doesn't seem to work), hinge is in full working order, closes tight.

Beautifully crafted Art Deco silver and 14 Kt gold cigarette case features black opaque enamel over silver. Two gold bands cross above and below a rectangular reserve with the initials DLO. The case is hinged on the left side with a clasp on the right. The vermeil interior has a decorative openwork hinge to hold the cigarettes. Marked on interior 14K STERLING, an unidentified maker's mark, and the production number 4113.
