Whimsical and striking 1940s 14 Kt. yellow and pink gold brooch or pin. A horizontal bow and four wide loops offset a prong-set citrine quartz. The closure of the pin is rollover or locking C clasp. Marked on the back 14 K. and a plaque for the maker ESEMCo. It is in great vintage condition.

Wonderfully detailed vintage 14K yellow gold Shriner lapel pin with a tiny yellow gold sphinx pharaoh head. The tiny lapel pin bears the crescent moon studded with 6 small diamonds, a scimitar sword and a star set with a larger diamond in the center. The scimitar stands for the backbone of the fraternity. The pin is excellent vintage condition. Unmarked but acid tested.

Fifteen slightly pinkish white Akoya cultured pearl cluster, clean with high shiny luster, studded with prong set genuine rubies. The closure of the pin is rollover or locking C clasp. Vintage 14K Gold Riding Crop Pin Essex Reverse Crystal Horse

Description:
14 Kt gold riding crop pin with an excellent quality reverse crystal intaglio.
Reverse crystal, also called Essex crystal, showing a head of a horse framed and backed in 14 Kt yellow gold. Part of the crop is coiled with white gold or platinum.
Reverse crystal jewelry was always fashionable. This pin was made around early 20th century. Marked on the pin 14 K and a maker's mark. The brooch and crystal is in excellent vintage condition.

Size: pin 2" long, crystal 1/2" diameter, approximately 4 mm
A reverse crystal is done when a cabochon rock crystal is carved intaglio, then painted by a fine miniature painter with extremely fine brushes and paint working in reverse to create incredibly detailed images.. Finally, the back was sealed with a layer of mother-of-pearl in order to preserve the painted areas. The deeper the carving, the more pronounced the three-dimensional effect when looked on the top which acts like a magnifier.

This lovely tiny mason lapel pin is 14 karat yellow gold. Made by an American jewelry maker around the early 20th century. The G in the center, for God is the center of freemasonry, is in royal blue enamel. There is a nice quality small diamond in the center. The back screws on and has ridges to make it easier to secure. It is fully marked. The pin is in excellent vintage condition.
