This is a stunning vintage 14k yellow gold clasp for 2 strands of beads or pearls is from around the 1950s. (Mid-century) featuring 6 round 2 mm cabochon opals centering a 3 mm cabochon opal, all 6 prongs set, in excellent vintage condition with tight clasp and safety catch, wonderful details and workmanship. Marked on the back 14 K and also acid tested. This lovely clasp in excellent vintage condition reminds me of a spinning wheel. Clasp measures: 1" (24 mm) diameter from the widest point. Weight: 7.3 grams. | |
