This is a wonderful vintage 18 Kt yellow gold filigree cross . It is in excellent vintage condition. Not marked, but acid tested and guaranteed. Crosses of Agadez are worn as a form of good luck and protection. Tuareg parents usually give these exquisite crosses to their children when they are leaving home. The crosses are uniquely shaped and are named after the town of Agadez from where they originate. Each cross looks different, and the jeweler can take liberty when choosing shapes and patterns.
