This fine Etrog box in the Empire revival style is decorated with swags
of garlands and bow. The bulbous body is resting on four feet and is
topped with a leaf motive finial. Beautiful gold washed interior. The

condition. There is a lock and key (doesn't seem to work), hinge is in
full working order, closes tight. Size: 5.5" W, 5" D, 5" H Weight: 451g Etrog (אֶתְרוֹג) is a type of citron. It is customary to put it in a beautiful box during the holiday of Succot (סוכות) the autumn harvest festival celebrated two weeks after Rosh Hashanah. |
