This is a very attractive rectangular French silver box with engine turned decoration all around the box and a stylish decoration and a vacant cartouche on the top. It can be used for pills or small trinkets. It has some small dents. The lid hinge is in good working order, the lid opens and closes properly and it will not fall open accidentally. The inside of the box needs cleaning. The box is made from quality thick gauge silver and has a heavy weight and quality feel. It has two very tiny hallmarks.
