This beautifully painted miniature signed by "Tomassi" is after the famous painting by Guido Reni. Beatrice Cenci was a beautiful Italian teenage girl. She instigated the killing of her brutal father and was executed in Rome in 1599. The portrait of Beatrice by Guido Reni is in the Barberini gallery.
