Description: |
Delicate 19th century Chinese jade shallow snuff dish. The wonderful translucent tan color bowl have red brown veins. It has a soft polish finish. The raised round foot is deeply cut. It is in very good condition no cracks or breaks. Unmarked. Snuff dishes were used to crush dried tobacco. Weight: 62 grams Size: 90 mm diameter, 10 mm deep I bought it from an antique dealer's estate. There were no notes with it and I am not an expert on Chinese art, so I can't pinpoint its true age. |
