Landscape at a creek. Original small oil painting on canvas with a backing board. Signed at lower right by Colestin Brugner. It is in a beautiful original period frame. A few small damage on the frame and 2 small paint chip. Colestin Brugner was a German land and seascapes painter, (Berlin 1824 - Berlin 1887). He exhibited at the local academy between 1854-66 Size approximately: 9" x 12" (23 cm x 30.5 cm.) picture, with frame: 15" x 18" (38 cm x 46 cm) |
