Description: |
Art Deco English oval crystal glass jar with enameled sterling silver top. Top displays Art Deco design of green and black terrazzo-like geometric banding with gilt bamboo form borders. The white ground features rays, and floral decorative motifs. Inside of lid is gold gilded. Marks for maker (B&GW), sterling, London, and a date letter B for 1937. Enamel is intact, slight dent on rim in two places. Size: 3" x 2" oval, 3.75" high (76 mm x 50 mm oval, 95 mm high.) | |
