Fine French Directoire period mahogany drop leaf dining table, Circa 1795. Oval, with two drop leaves. It has round tapering legs ending with brass casters. The two insert leaves are more in the red tone of mahogany. The great advantage of this table is its versatility. It can seat 4 to 6 people, or with one leave insert 8, or with the 2 insert it is comfortable for 10 or tight for 12 people.
