This is a lovely vintage 9 Kt rose gold Irish harp charm with nice details. It can be also worn as a pendant. Fully marked on the back: G F maker, letter e for 1979, anchor for Birmingham and 375 for 9 Kt. It is in excellent vintage condition. Weight: 0.9 grams Size: 19 mm Long 12 mm Wide (3/4" x1/2") The harp, the musical instrument has been synonymous with Guinness since 1862 when it was used as a symbol on the first bottle label for GUINNESS. It was registered as a Guinness company trademark in 1876. It is because of the harp trademark that Guinness named its first lager 'Harp' in 1960. |
