"Bacchanale" Signed by Joseph Cheret (1838-1894) Paris Copyright by E Soleau 1904 It is decorated with bas-relief friezes of nymphs playing with putti with garlands of flowers. Two heads of beasts for handle. A similar four-handled jardini????re, also edited by Soleau, were exhibited at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900 (see A.
